Summer’s bounty
comes about by
winter’s preparation.

It’s true of flower gardens, but also of personal stretches of suffering, growing pains, healing seasons, all sorts of interminable waiting periods.

My current holding pattern can still be fertile if my approach is right.

Waiting is not failure.

“Sometimes it feels like forever
When it’s dark outside
Baby, the sun will rise
However long the night

And when you feel afraid
And you see shadows on the wall
Wherever there is love
There is no fear at all
